【8/9 : ロンへ出したメールです。】
Dear Ron
Had e-mail about Tad from some of the trainees who are now working
in Tacoma area. Also, I got e-mail from mr. Yoshinaga from Seattle
office, and mr. Yoshikawa from Tokyo office of the Japan agricultural exchange
council. Felt so sorry. Had no word to say. Tad was as old as my mother
and my father passed away 15 years ago but I feel like my father passed
away again and finally.
Hope to go over and attend the funeral but huge typhoon is now coming
towards us. She will be above us tonight, within few hours. I was busy
working to prepare, closing canvas top houses and put many shutter door
of my house. Hope she will pass away without any damage. We had so
much rain already and wind is now getting stronger.
On Sunday, I am planning to climb the religiouse mountain in Nara.
Mt. Ohmine is the only such mountain that no woman can climb. There is
a temple on the sumit where I will pray for Tad with goma-fire.
Hope I did not make any mistake to send this mail.
Sincerely, Albert Hirai
